Abstract
The vast majority of Texas (>95%) is privately owned, so collaborative efforts between state, federal, and local partners with landowners are critical to implementing and sustaining good conservation stewardship. The Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Divisions of Texas Parks and Wildlife Department are working with landowners through local grassroots efforts, technical guidance, and the Landowner Incentive Program to implement holistic, watershed-focused projects and land management practices.
