Abstract
Cajon Bonito is a northern tributary of the Yaqui River of Sonora, flowing just south of the International Border with the United States This system still supports most of the Yaqui fishes, including a viable population of what is thought to be the Yaqui catfish, Ictalurus pricei Information on changes in species composition between historic and more recent collections is presented, as well as future plans for the catfish, presuming they are Yaqui catfish
