Air transportation

San Luis Potosí has an airport that receives international flights. There is a daily flight by Continental Express from Houston Texas, Departing Houston at 8:30 pm and arriving at San Luis Potosí at 10:20 pm, the same flight departs everyday at 7:20 am to Houston. This is the easiest way to access San Luis Potosí from the United States as you can make the trip in one afternoon to San Luis.

Continental airlines has agreed to provide a special price for flights to San Luis Potosi during the time frame of the Congress, provided they are reserved with at least 15 days anticipation. Published rates for this offer include a price of $570 dollars round trip (taxes not included) from anywhere within the Continental USA. A special additional discount of 5% is available for those that reserve with 60 days anticipation. At least ten persons need to flight by Continental to the Congress (summing up regardless of origin) for the discount to be effective.

All you have to do to obtain the special Congress rates is to tell your travel agent or Continental MeetingWorks contact (800 468 7022) the group Reference Code VQF522 and z Code ZV0V.

Flight 2660 departs SLP 07:00 am arrives San Antonio 10:20 am.
Flight 2661 departs San Antonio 10:45 am arrives SLP 13:55 am. (with a plane switch in Monterrey, flight 2155)

The informaton this airline has provided on cost and schedules has been erratic and in two occassion they have not honored, it has been practically impossible to arrange a group rate with this company through their San Luis Potosí representatives.

Transportation Airport - Hotel

The Fiesta Inn hotel has agreed to arrange transportation from/to airport within their possibilities. The best way to handle this is to notify the Hotel liason person, Liliana Espinosa Grimaldo, about your scheduled arrival so that she can organize picking up, the host hotel is 25 minutes away from the airport.
