Registration cost
Registration cost for the DFC 2002 meeting is as follows:
General registration cost: $75.00 dollars
The DFC offers $30.00 grants to students wishing to attend the DFC meeting, so registration cost for students is reduced to $45.00 dollars.
Registration includes admission to the presentations, transportation to congress events, visit to the Zoo, banquet and field trips.
It is very important, if you know you are going to attend the DFC 2002, that you pre-register before September 30. Hotel room, visit to the Zoo and field trips can only be guaranteed if you pre-register. After the deadline, rooms set apart for the congress will start to be cancelled by the hotel, and buses used for transportation will have to be hired. Only the seats that remain to fill the then necessary buses for those who have pre-registered, will be available after that.
Pre-registration
Pre-registration should be made prior to September 30; those that pre-register will assure their participation in all the DFC meeting events and will additionally get a free DFC 2002 meeting polo t-shirt to be delivered together with their registration packets at the host hotel.

Alternatively, registration is to be paid in U.S. Dollars, which must accompany the registration form (personal checks accepted from domestic registrants; International Money Orders or Bank Drafts for foreign registrants).
On-site registration
Onsite registration will take place starting Thursday November 14 at 4:00 pm at the salon "E" of the host hotel Fiesta Inn in San Luis Potosí. The personnel in charge of registration will deliver on-site:

The on-site registration cost should be covered in cash, dollars or pesos
In addition, congress t-shirts will be available for $120.00 pesos (about 12 dollars) at the registration desk to those interested in buying one.
Onsite registration desk will be open Thursday November 14 from 16:00 to 20:00 hrs and Friday from 8:00 am to 12:00 am. After this registration can be made with the congress support person, who will be available in the lobby.
