Desert Fishes Fishes Council Lifetime Service Award given to Clark and Cathy Hubbs - November 2007

The Desert Fishes Council at its 2007 annual meeting in Ventura California bestowed its first Lifetime Service Award to Clark and Catherine Hubbs in appreciation of their long service to the Desert Fishes Council and their lifetime commitment to the conservation and restoration of our natural resource heritage. With this award, the Desert Fishes Council recognizes the lifetime involvement of Clark with the biology and plight of many desert fishes; begun as a youngster and continuing throughout a professional career spanning seven decades. Sharing this award is his life partner, Catherine, whose support and encouragement for not only Clark but also his students and colleagues, continues to be an inspiration to us all.
