This species is presently being described by Rob Wager and Steve Brooks
(Queensland Department of Primary Industries, Fisheries).

This species will probably be considered endangered.
Distribution & Abundance
Myross hardyheads were only discovered during mid 1994. They are restricted
to one spring-fed pool in the Edgbaston Spring complex.

Ecological work is presently being undertaken by Wager and Brooks.
